There’s a struggle in life between letting people in, being close and vulnerable, or shutting people out, staying safe and being unknowable. Fearful sorcerers and exploitative priests threw you into the mines for your capacity for magic. But when destiny unites you with a spell book your potential can manifest. Will you let it in, and be vulnerable to it or will you carry it with a paranoid caution?  
 
Mannerism is an approach based tabletop RPG about your inner battle with authenticity along the journey to become a masterful mage. To see who prevails in a contest, all you need are your descriptions choosing your Manner, a combination of attitude, approach and foresight, to see how it resolves. Characters grow naturally from their actions and descriptions in play.
